Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts… Hebrews 3:7-8a
Yesterday has passed, and we cannot presume upon tomorrow. Many people are consumed with what happened yesterday whether it be good or bad. They may be proud of what they have given or accomplished for the Lord. Others may be consumed with anger or bitterness related to past incidents. There is no guarantee that God will speak to us tomorrow. We do not know what a day will bring forth. God cares about today. He desires for us to listen to Him today!
Our hope is that through the music and preaching of the Word of God each one of you will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speak to you personally. If the Holy Spirit speaks to you about anything whether it be regarding sin or service, do not neglect the Holy Spirit’s conviction. Your heart could become hardened. A hardened heart comes to those who refuse to listen to God.
The time of the invitation is a serious time of decision making for all of us whether we come forward or stay in our seats. If you are making an important decision, you may want to cement that decision by having someone pray with you during the invitation. We have workers at the front who would be happy to pray with you. Just let us know when you come forward.
If you are unsure of your salvation, Today is the day for you to trust Christ as your Savior. There is no guarantee that you will have a chance to get saved tomorrow. Please speak to us during the invitation, and we will have a personal worker lead you through the Scriptures to trust Christ as your Savior.
2 Corinthians 6:2… behold, now is the day of salvation.
