BLESSINGS FROM PROVERBS 3

As I read Proverbs chapter 3 today, I see that it is full of warnings and blessings, especially blessings upon those who are trusting in the Lord seeking His wisdom. Reading the following excerpts from Proverbs three should motivate us to walk with God throughout the day. You may find a verse that you can meditate upon.

·        Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

·        Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

·        Proverbs 3:6b and he shall direct thy paths.

·        Proverbs 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

·        Proverbs 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

·        Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man …

·        Proverbs 3:16-18 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

·        Proverbs 3:22-24 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

·        Proverbs 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

·        Proverbs 3:32b His secret is with the righteous.

·        Proverbs 3:33b He blesseth the habitation of the just.

·        Proverbs 3:34b He giveth grace unto the lowly.

·        Proverbs 3:35a The wise shall inherit glory:

God cares about your physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Sin is a destroyer of all three, but all can be improved upon by walking with God. God surrounds Himself with joy and pleasures; when we walk with God, we also should be experiencing joy and pleasure even in this evil world. God desires His best for us; we should desire His best also.

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
